About Claire Hunter-Smith

I am a bubbly and enthusiastic Social Media Manager at Bloom, based in Leeds. I'm really interested in Social Media, SEO, PR, Marketing, Brand Reputation and most importantly effective digital dialogue and communication. I think positive engagement = having real conversations and building relationships that are about people rather than figures and metrics is what using social media is all about, otherwise it wouldn't be a very sociable place to hang out! I live in Leeds love music, books, films, crafts and paintings and I'm always interested in meeting new people and finding out about new technologies and innovations so please feel free to get in touch :)

It’s not the end of the World, OR a ‘British Institution’

It is with great delight that I consumed the news yesterday that News of World will be no more from this Sunday.  While I sympathise with those who suffered redundancies, (and weren’t to blame for any of the scandal), I’m … Continue reading

Trains, Mobiles and bubble-heads

Me FIRST Catching a train is an every person for themselves situation.  The key to this commuter art is to hang about near-ish to the platform edge, acting nonchalantly as if you are not bothered about getting onto the train quickly.  Pretend … Continue reading
