Ahh Sonny .... I think you must have missed the point ... my apologies for any confusion ....

I am Welsh and there is a spin here with the term Big Locks; which has negative connotations to verbal gaffs ... hence the two capitals in place for B and L ... That said ... given the nature of the pratt and his gaff I'm happy for your interpretation!!!

PS: Wish there was a 'smilie' with a tongue in cheek! ....

PPS: I will be watching the game tonight with the soind off!!

I was actually quite interested by the swearing contained within this post's title. I was wondering what you as a social media company would say is the right judgement to take with personal opinions and language such as this on your company blog?

We have always taken the professional, rather than personal tone with ours, and would certainly shy away from using swear words and bad grammar. However, I do sometimes wonder if this takes away the personality of our staff who do speak like that.

Do you think that being too formal and stuffy is going to put people off reading a blog?

What was your editorial decision behind publishing this article?

Well said Brian!

Clive Tyldesley is the worst commentator ever, just count the number of times he mentions 'Manchester United' and 'That famous night in Barcelona'.

ITV should not be allowed to broadcast sport at all, they're incompetent!

Gutted!

They had a crazy discussion about this on Radio 4 this morning with a cricketer and random non-sports journalist who form part of the 'sports pundit panel' apparently. They were quite forgiving though - the question is was it a sign of things to come or just one of those really embarrassing one offs?
