Bloom announces 36% growth and expands team

Bloom has announced a record year with income growing 36 per cent to £1.8m. The last year has seen Bloom enter into a joint venture with media agency AMS and launch Whisper, a social media agency in London, and make significant new business wins with Royal Caribbean Cruises, Aviva and Gazprom.

The team has grown to 32 people with hires including developers, social media managers, search teams and account handlers. Dan Akers joins as development manager, Curtis McPherson as account director of Whisper and Simon Wilson as operations director.


Bloom’s integrated agency offer has strengthened with a Neil Lockwood, Stuart Arundel and Glen Cartwright collaboration from branding specialists, Beautiful Minds.

Commenting on the growth Alex Craven, managing director at Bloom said: “Our growth is driven by the increasing number of brands looking to digital providers to become their lead agency. We are combining strategic brand development with on and off-line campaign delivery to really make a difference to our clients. In the last twelve months we have made a significant investment in talented people to ensure we can continue to provide great client service.”

Bloom has offices in Leeds and London. It is an integrated communications agency with a digital heart.
