New campaign sees LA fitness and Bloom team up for integrated work

We are delighted to be able to announce that LA fitness, one of the UK’s largest gym operators, has appointed Bloom as its agency of record following a comprehensive pitch process.

The appointment sees Bloom take responsibility for integrated member acquisition campaigns, which will include brand development, digital marketing, above-the-line and membership communication.

Commenting on the appointment Tony Orme, marketing director, for LA fitness said

LA fitness operates 80 health clubs across the UK and has over 200,000 members. Current Britain’s Got Talent judge and former Strictly Come Dancing judge and winner Alesha Dixon is creative director of the fitness chain.

Neil Lockwood, group client services director of Bloom said:This first campaign of 2013 ran across traditional DM and POS, online display, social marketing and voucher distrubution microsites. It also included exclusive video content of Alesha Dixon, delivered via the Aurasma platform, of fitness tips and advice especially for existing LA fitness members.
