Top Ten of December

With the big day closing in fast, we’re all in the festive spirit here at Bloom. So when the time came to write December’s top 10, we thought we’d do something a little bit different. We all got together and shared our favourite ever Christmas campaigns to create an epic top 10 that would even get Scrooge feeling festive.

1. Yellow Pages – Christmas kiss (1992)
A lovely heart-warming story taking us back to when the Yellow Pages was the biggest book ever:

2. Irn Bru – The Snowman (2007)
The ad that got everyone feeling nostalgic with the use of an old Christmas classic:

3. Coca Cola – Holidays are coming (1995)
You know it’s Christmas when you hear this jingle:

4. Sainsbury’s Christmas Eve 1914 (2014)
The emotive campaign commemorating the 100 year anniversary of the First World War:

5. Toys R Us (1989)
This one really gets us excited for Christmas, and we always sing the theme tune:

6. Aldi – Man on the moon parody (2015)
Simple and genius:

7. WestJet – Christmas miracle (2012)
A campaign capturing the true spirit of Christmas:

8. Ferrero Rocher (1993)
Even though the dubbing is so bad, we love it anyway:

9. John Lewis – Monty the Penguin (2014)
We all fell in love with this cute little guy from the moment we saw him:

10. M&S Christmas food (2006)
The first of many M&S campaigns to make us all hungry for festive food:
