UK Search Awards, SocialBuzz and MiAwards: Bloom is on a roll!
We’ve been on a bit of an awards roll of late, what with Welcome to Yorkshire scooping the Best Travel Website gong at the Group Leisure awards in September and Bloom appearing on the shortlists for the SomeComms and Dadi awards back in July. The award ceremonies are coming up soon for the latter, so keep your fingers crossed that we walk away with something sparkly to add to the trophy cabinet!
You can imagine our delight when, in the space of just a few days, we added another three nominations to our growing list.
Last Monday we started the week with a bang by appearing on the shortlist for the Best Integrated Campaign category of the UK Search Awards. We have been nominated for our work with ADT, the UK’s leading supplier of security systems. The nominated campaign,which encompassed SEO, web design, usability, eye tracking and a full-blown TV campaign, led to position one rankings on Google for a number of competitive search terms and 100 per cent uplift in TV to telephone enquiries against their previous product focused campaigns.
The category is being judged by an impressive panel of experts from major industry names including Google, Experian and Expedia. Being shortlisted is therefore a real testament to our team’s expertise, our strong relationship with ADT and our focus on developing truly integrated campaigns that deliver results across every channel. We find out on the 1st November if we’ll be adding another award to our burgeoning collection – wish us luck!
The week was rounded off perfectly when SocialBuzz announced their awards shortlist on Friday. We’re in the running for another Innovation award for Whisper, our social media monitoring tool. Like our SomeComms nomination, the SocialBuzz nomination was based on our success in using the tool to grow a garden audience for Anglian Home Improvements. We’re extremely proud that the judging panel – which included representatives from Microsoft, Adobe, Asos, Butlins and Living Social – recognised the innovative nature of our work and we can’t wait to find out if we’ll walk away with the gong on the 28th November.
Finally, the good news has spread into this week with a nomination from the Marketing Industry Network for best Sports or Leisure Marketing Strategy or Campaign. This is our second nomination for our work on Welcome to Yorkshire’s shiny new website, which showcases a pioneering solution that has opened up new revenue streams for the tourism sector in God’s own county. We’re delighted to have our hard work recognised by experts from Virgin, British Airways and ITV and we’re counting down the sleeps until the awards ceremony on the 15th November.
We better polish our shoes and get our glad-rags dry cleaned!
