The Hepworth Wakefield is the largest purpose-built exhibition space outside of London. But the brand and identity didn’t reflect the great space of this iconic gallery. We were tasked with reviewing the brand proposition to tell their story both verbally and visually. They wanted warm, welcoming, inclusive marketing collateral to attract new visitors.
Insight and data-led, we started with a discovery workshop. We joined forces with the Hepworth team to explore the brand’s vision, mission, values and audience.
From there we developed a clear proposition, along with a tone of voice that would run across the entire brand. Our designers introduced a new contemporary colour palette
We then produced a brand book for the internal team to work from, providing guidelines for producing a solid, consistent brand no matter what the medium.
