Bloom scoop Insider award for the second consecutive year

Forget about the sugar rush from all the chocolate consumed over the Easter weekend – we’re still buzzing from being awarded Best Use of SEO for our work with ADT last Wednesday night.

We scooped a golden gong at the  Insider Yorkshire Digital and Technology Awards for our fully integrated campaign that got security experts ADT to the number one spot on Google and also achieved 100 per cent uplift in TV to telephone enquiries against previous product focused campaigns. Encompassing SEO, web design, user journey analysis, conversion channel analysis and a full-blown TV campaign, our Insider Yorkshire Digital and Technology Award will sit proudly alongside the UK Search Award we won for the work in November.

So, what made us stand out from the crowd? In the judges’ words, “Bloom created a fully integrated campaign for home security provider ADT from web through to TV, anchored by an SEO strategy that delivered 80 per cent increase in traffic and a number one ranking on Google … Bloom has delivered the holy grail of getting to the top of Google by developing a creative and innovative campaign that used SEO to feed into a raft of communication channels.”

A good job well done then!

This is the second consecutive year that Bloom have scooped the award for Best Use of SEO at the Insider’s Royal Armouries ceremony. Last year we walked away with a new piece of bling for the mantelpiece for our work with Ebuyer. However, our memories of the evening are slightly jaded by the evil kidnapping of SEO Monkey by the villainous MadebyPi.

Luckily, SEO Monkey is back in our arms once more after a truly terrible few weeks without him and a handsome ransom fee. We haven’t let him out of our sight since, making sure he was safely tucked up in his hammock and away from potential monkey-snatchers during this year’s awards.

We’d also like to formally congratulate our friends at Welcome to Yorkshire who scooped two golden gongs at this year’s ceremony- Digital Marketing Campaign of the Year and Best Business to Consumer Website of the Year – a victory that we had a part to play in too! It’s wonderful to see all the hard work being recognised.
