Bloom bag three UK Search Awards nominations

We’re extremely excited to announce that we’ve secured a magnificent three nominations at this year’s  UK Search Awards, the industry’s most prestigious celebration of all things search marketing.

After winning the award for best integrated campaign at the ceremony in 2012 for our work with security experts ADT, we’re incredibly proud of the fact that we’ve tripled our number of nominations this year. Our work for the world’s biggest football site, Goal, is standing proud in categories celebrating the Best Use of PR, Best Use of Social Media  and the creme de la creme of search land – Best Integrated Campaign.

We worked with Goal to boost search activity using their Goal 50 list, creating a fully integrated campaign that would generate site visits through social links via a very simple and shareable piece of content – a Facebook-powered game that asked fans to choose their own top ten footballers. The game went live as soon as the media got hold of the much anticipated Goal 50 list. And it went crazy.  With more than 400 media hits,  our PR team made sure that the story went global – even making the front page of a Turkish national newspaper. The game got over 8,000 visits per day, with more than 2,500 registered users and 1,000 teams uploaded. As a bonus, it even collected relevant user data that could be used in the future to generate new campaigns.

We think those stats are more than a little bit impressive and we’re glad the judges think so too! We can’t wait  for the plush ceremony in London in November. Keep your fingers crossed for us!
